Key Account Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition and Management: Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with key clients, including brands and contract manufacturers in the Sports Nutrition, Weight Management, and Gut Health sectors.

  • Sales Strategy Development: Execute comprehensive sales strategies to introduce and establish aXivite in targeted global markets.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, marketing, and management teams to align product offerings with market needs and ensure cohesive messaging.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of regulatory requirements.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nutrition, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years in B2B ingredient sales within the nutraceutical or functional food sectors, with a focus on launching new ingredients.

  • Industry Network: Established connections with brands and contract manufacturers in the Sports Nutrition, Weight Management, and Gut Health segments.

  • Scientific Acumen: Strong understanding of nutrition science and the ability to translate clinical trial data into compelling commercial messaging.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and one Scandinavian language; proficiency in additional European languages is a significant advantage.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with digital sales tools, including CRM systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks pertinent to nutraceutical ingredients.
